1. Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple (Tiruchanoor)

Kick start your memorable trip with the revered Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple. This stunning spiritual complex located in Tiruchanoor enshrines goddess Padmavati, an incarnation of goddess Lakshmi. Legends state that King Aksharaja and queen Dharanidevi who were devoid of a child performed a Yagna seeking the blessing of obtaining a child. 

The couple found a child on a thousand petal lotus, and named her as Padmavathi. The town of Tiruchanoor is more popular as Alarmelmangapuram or Alimelumangapuram where the terms Alar, Mel, Manga, and Puram means Lotus, top, Goddess and town respectively.

Visitors would be astounded with the marvellous structure built in Dravidian style of architecture. The temple in white and gold houses the idol of Goddess Padmavathi in a sitting posture holding lotus in both the upper hands. Other notable shrines are that of Lord Sri Krishna, Balarama, Sundarajan Swami and Suryanarayana Swamy.

2. Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple

4. Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple

5. Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple (Srinivasa Mangapuram)

6. Sri Agastheswara Swamy Temple (Thondavada)
