1. Dargah Sharif
Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the tomb of Moinuddin Chishti is ranked among one of the holiest places of worship in India, especially for Muslims. As it is the final resting place of the Gharib Nawaz Moinuddin Chishti, this dargah has been a pioneer in spreading the ethical and spiritual values of Islam amongst the masses.
Ajmer Sharif was built by the Mughals and stands as a testimony of the rich Mughal style of architecture. The Dargah comprises of tombs, courtyards and daalaans, and the major establishments constructed in this complex are Nizam Gate, Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Aulia Masjid, Dargah Shrine and Mehfil Khana.
The Dargah has been mostly made out of marble and gold plating, which is guarded by silver railings and a marble screen. Every year Urs is held for six days in the Dargah during the seventh month of the Islamic lunar calendar. The front door of the Dargah Sharif which is always closed at night is kept open all day during all the six days of Urs.
The shrine is especially crowded on these six days.
Must see \ Things to do: The two cauldrons in the inner courtyard of the shrine. These containers have a capacity of 2240 kg and 4480 kg and are used during special occasions to cook sweetmeats which are distributed among the devotees.
2. Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra
The next stop in our one day trip Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra is a mosque built by Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak, the first Sultan of Delhi in 1199. This 12th-century Indo-Islamic architectural site is believed to have been constructed in two and a half days and it is from there that the monument gets its name.

Ana Sagar Lake is a glorious artificial lake that is thronged by visitors in the evenings to catch a glimpse of the sunset. This artificial lake was a brainchild of Anaji Tomar, who was the grandfather of Prithviraj Chauhan. In fact, the lake is named after the king Anaji himself.
The lake was founded during the 12th century after a dam was built across the nearby located river of Luni. The beautiful lake is surrounded by Daulat Bagh Gardens and the Khobra Behroon temple which we will also be taking you to, as part of the private tour by car.
