1. Dargah Sharif

Being the final resting place of the Gharib Nawaz Moinuddin Chishti, this dargah has played a massive role in spreading the ethical and spiritual values of Islam amongst the masses.
Dargah Sharif is undoubtedly the most famous pilgrimage centre in Rajasthan of a great Sufi Saint who had dedicated his entire life for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. Ajmer Sharif was built by the Mughals and is a grand example of the rich Mughal Architecture.
The Dargah has various constituents like tombs, courtyards and daalaans and the major establishments constructed in this complex are Nizam Gate, Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Aulia Masjid, Dargah Shrine and Mehfil Khana.
One can spot two huge cauldrons in the inner courtyard of the shrine. These containers have a capacity of 2240 kg and 4480 kg and are used during special occasions to cook sweet delicacies which are distributed among the devotees.
The Material used in building the main tomb of Ajmer Sharif Dargah is mostly marble and gold plating, which is guarded by silver railings and a marble screen.
Every year Urs is held for six days in the Dargah in the seventh month of the Islamic lunar calendar. The main entrance of the Holy Tomb which is ordinarily closed at night is kept open throughout the day and night during all the six days of Urs. This time is an especially rewarding time to visit this holy shrine.

2. Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra

Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra is a Masjid built by Qutub-ud-Din-Aibak, the first Sultan of Delhi in the year 1199. It is believed that this Indo-Islamic architectural site was constructed in two and a half days and it is from there that the monument gets its name.
Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra is the relic of an old mosque which was constructed with remains of Hindu and Jain temples. Though most of the ancient temple is in ruins today, the area of the mosque is still used as a place of worship. Complete with arched screens, ruined minarets and distinct beautiful pillars, it is a truly mesmerising place to visit.

3. Soniji Ki Nasiyan

4. Ana Sagar Lake

Ana Sagar Lake is a magnificent artificial lake that is best visited during the evenings to catch a glimpse of the sunset. The construction of this took place under instructions of Anaji Tomar, who was the grandfather of Prithviraj Chauhan.
In fact, the lake is named after the king Anaji himself. The lake was founded during the 12th century, after a dam was built across the Luni River. The beautiful lake is surrounded by Daulat Bagh Gardens, and the Khobra Behroon temple.
The Lake is only 13 kilometres away from the city center. There is also an island in the centre of the lake and it is about 4.4 metres deep and spreads over an area of 12 kilometres.

5. Pushkar Lake

Located in the oldest part of the city, the lake takes us back to the 2nd century BC. Taking a dip on the holy day of Kartik Poornima is considered equal to the benefits acquired by performing yagnas for several centuries.

6. Man Mahal

The Holy Pushkar Lake flowing right in front of the temple adds to the temple’s sanctity. It is believed that worshiping Lord Brahma, who is rarely found, is equivalent to attaining liberation and hence must be visited by one and all.
